Frequently Asked Questions

SpeedX is a versatile app that fully harnesses your phone's sensors, displaying real-time speed, G-force, barometric pressure, altitude, and more. With a built-in compass and attitude indicator, it records your trip trajectories. Core functions work without internet, featuring a clean and elegant interface — perfect for sports enthusiasts, outdoor adventures, and daily travel.

Absolutely! All core metrics including speed monitoring, altitude tracking, and pressure readings are computed locally using your device's internal GPS and barometric sensors. Route logging and active telemetry operate seamlessly even in remote wilderness locations with zero connectivity.

SpeedX combines GPS data with barometric pressure sensors to deliver sub-meter vertical precision for altitude and highly responsive speed readings. The dual-frequency GPS support on compatible devices provides accuracy within 1-2 meters for positioning and 0.1 km/h for speed.

Simply tap Start Session before your activity and SpeedX begins recording your GPS track, speed, altitude, and route in real time. When you're done, save your trip and it's stored locally on your device. You can review your route map, speed profile, and altitude chart anytime from the History Log.

SpeedX is engineered with an energy-conserving sensor polling model. By utilizing hardware sensor batching and intelligent update intervals, active session backgrounding consumes up to 75% less battery than standard navigation applications. A typical 2-hour session uses approximately 15-20% of battery on modern devices.

Your privacy is our priority. All trip data, location history, and performance metrics are stored exclusively on your device. SpeedX does not upload your location data to any server. You control your data — review it, delete it anytime.
